Meaghan McCormack is a marine zoologist with the NYNHP. Her work focuses on a range of marine animals, and her primary goals are to continue the development of conservation ranking methodologies for New York’s marine species and promote stewardship of New York’s marine ecosystems. She earned a BS in biology from Adelphi University and an MS in Marine Affairs and Policy from the University of Miami. She is currently finishing the final stages of her Ph.D. dissertation, which focuses on trace element accumulation in odontocetes, at Texas State University.
