Meaghan McCormack is a marine zoologist with the NYNHP. Her work focuses on a range of marine animals, and her primary goals are to continue the development of conservation ranking methodologies for New York’s marine species and promote stewardship of New York’s marine ecosystems. She earned a BS in biology from Adelphi University, an MS in Marine Affairs and Policy from the University of Miami, and a Ph.D. in Aquatic Resources and Integrative Biology from Texas State University. Her dissertation research focused on trace element accumulation in odontocetes.
