Since joining NYNHP in 2004, Andrea has served NYNHP as an Assistant Biologist, Assistant Zoologist, and, currently, Environmental Review Specialist. These roles have allowed her to work with rare species, rare species datasets, and natural resource partners to facilitate biodiversity conservation efforts. Andrea earned her B.S. in Soil Science from Cornell University and a M.S. in Biodiversity Conservation and Policy from the University at Albany. Outside of work, Andrea enjoys spending time in nature, particularly hiking and paddling, with her husband and dog.
