Fate serves as the Advanced Data Manager for the NYNHP iMapInvasives team where he processes, transforms, and analyzes invasive species data from partners throughout the state. He also helps to maintain the state's invasive species data collection tools, while also developing new tools for data collection, analysis, and visualization.
Fate received his M.S. from the SUNY College of Environmental Science & Forestry in Conservation Biology, where he focused on developing a process for evaluating invasive species management effectiveness. He received a B.A. in Environmental Studies from Vassar College.
