Invasive species tiers are categories of high-impact invasive species based on their distribution, abundance, and feasibility of management. These tier lists guide management priorities in each PRISM and across New York State, and are based on data from iMapInvasives and other sources along with invasiveness assessments and expert feedback. See the invasive species tiers page for more information, including the definitions for each tier value.
Use the links in the table below to view maps of iMapInvasives records for species within a particular tier for a PRISM. This will load the iMapInvasives online map interface, with the presence records filtered by species.
For example: to see a map of all reports filtered on the Lower Hudson PRISM Tier 2 list, click the “Tier 2” link (second column) in the “Lower Hudson” row.
Note: the map interface is filtering a large database on long lists of species, so the map may take some time to load. If the map appears to freeze, try hitting the "Refresh" button on your browser tab.
